The 2014 MS Connections Conference is a two day event for persons affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), health professionals and the general public from across the province, and is scheduled as follows:

The Pre-Conference Symposium begins on the Friday afternoon providing a roadmap to MS Care in Alberta. Friday evening presents this year's keynote speaker, Dr. Gabor Maté.

Saturday's Full Day Program to bring us together, become better educated on a variety of topics that affect you in your daily lives, and to meet and listen to speakers who may change the way that we all look at MS. We want to inspire hope and a sense of connection through these sessions as you meet like minded people affected by MS.

In addition to great presentations, the event also features an Exhibit Hall with information booths from community organizations- many of which have a provincial presence. The Exhibit Hall is instrumental in giving participantsthe opportunity to become familiar with organizations and businesses who can provided guidance on a variety of fields such as justice, health, complementary and alternative medicine, exercise and financials. The conference closes Saturday evening and will be ending on a particular high note this year, as the sessions wrap up with an inspirational speech about MS Ambassador Greg van Tighem's MS inspired cause and campaign.

We would like to thank all of the sponsors and donors who have made the 2014 MS Connections Conference possible! Saturday is a full day program to bring us together, become better educated on a variety of topics that affect you in your daily lives, and to meet and listen to speakers who may change the way that we all look at MS. The first MS Connections Conference was held in 2004 and has been an important initiative that contributes to fulfilling one half of our mission – to enhance the quality of life for those affected by MS. In addition to great presentations, the event also features an Exhibit Hall with information booths from community organizations many of which have a provincial presence. The Exhibit Hall has been given rave reviews in past years by participants who have been given the opportunity to become familiar with organizations and businesses from a variety of fields such as justice, health, complementary and alternative medicine, exercise and financial. The exhibit hall will be open from 8:30am – 3:30pm and long breaks will be provided to give participants plenty of reasons to go through the exhibit hall.  The conference gives us the chance to connect with others who have a similar interest in learning more about MS. Past attendees have reported not feeling so alone by coming to the conference, finding useful & practical information from the sessions and leaving with a sense of hope.
